That said, the install/upgrade was the easiest I've done with any software since I started messing with computers in the late 70's. Everybody should watch this fascinati ng film which features a great script and unforgettable heart-rendering performances by Madame Signoret, the enchanting Sandra Milo, the magnificent Emmanuelle Riva and the charming Gina Rovere. Of course things get complicated later on but I don´t want to give it all away.
The surprise is that the restaurant becomes a huge success by the excellent cuisine cooked and served by the four women. The business enterprise is just a front so that Adua and her friends can proceed with their prostitution activities. Middle aged Adua (Simone Signoret) convinces three of her younger colleagues to pull together their resources and open a restaurant on the outskirts of the city. The authorities gave ladies of the night the opportunity of a fresh start by destroying all records of their prostitution activities. Adua e le compagne (Adua and friends) tells the story of four prostitutes displaced by a law that forced the shutdown of brothels in 1959 Italy.
